1. Facility Admin: Admin can add new user and create username and password for new patients. The user database and records are maintained by the system and admin is able to add, update and delete the records from the system with proper privileges.

2. Register: He can register new patient or search the patient from the existing data and Start/End the encounter (Encounter can be Inpatient encounter (IP), Outpatient Encounter (OP) or Emergency Encounter(ER)). Also he can assign the bed to the IP and diagnose the IP with primary diagnosis and DRG code.

3. Patient Check In / Check Out: It is empowered with patient scheduling software that makes it easy to book and confirm appointments across locations and quickly check patients in and out.

For In-Patient (IPD): If the new patient gets admitted to the system then a unique record is generated for each patient and patient details along with the room reservation and its case papers and other details will be stored in the system. And also room Allotment is taken care. Once patient gets a discharge, then his discharge form will be completed by medical or nursing staff and will contain details of the procedure performed and instructions relating to it. All this information will get stored in system database.

For Out-Patient (OPD): If the new patient visits the Doctor in OPD, the system then generate a unique record for each patient and patient details along with the its case papers and other details are stored in the system. Billing details are also taken care of by the system.

4. Physician can provide the diagnosis for the open encounter, add orders for the diagnosis (Order can be of Type: CPT, HCPCS, DRG and DRUG), each order can have different categories like Lab test, Pharmacy orders, Drug orders or any surgery orders.

5. Nurses administer the Open Order activities like given drug to the patient and upload the vitals of the patient and add notes of the patient conditions.

6. Laboratory / Pathology Automation: The system keeps track of the laboratories in the hospital. The equipment purchasing, inventory and billing of the purchase will be maintained by the system. Lab attendant can upload the document or scanned copy against the Lab orders with results and notes.

7. Inventory System: The system keeps track of all the inventory of the hospital, which may include various departments such as pharmaceuticals, food and laundry department to name the few. Stock & vendor details are maintained by the system. The invoice, purchase orders, purchase requisitions is generated by the system and detail reports of each transaction will be maintained.

8. Billing System: The entire billing system for the patient will be automatically created. It will include the expenses of all kind and in the end when the patient gets a discharge the entire bill will be generated automatically. The bill will contain all the expenses, which should be charged to the patient for the period for which he was admitted to the hospital. Out Patient Billing is also taken care-of.

9. Claims Management: It improves billing accuracy and compliance with comprehensive clearinghouse and editing services for both hospital and physician claims, including ICD-10 compliance.

10. Heath Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA): It provides patients with uniform access to their medical records and more control over how their personal health information is used and disclosed. It also requires healthcare providers to safeguard the security and confidentiality of medical records.

11. Highcharts: The reports are generated with eye-catching and interactive JavaScript charts for data visualization.
